Terms of Service

Effective date: June 19, 2026 · Version 2026-06-19

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Christ's Reach ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Christ's Reach, you agree to these Terms, including the Care & Safety notice below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Care & Safety — please read

Christ's Reach offers spiritual encouragement, Scripture, prayer, and peer support. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, addiction, crisis, or other professional or emergency care, and it is not a substitute for the treatment, diagnosis, or advice of qualified, licensed professionals. Using Christ's Reach does not create any doctor–patient, therapist–client, counselor, or other professional relationship.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number), or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Always seek and follow the guidance of licensed professionals, and never disregard or delay seeking it because of something you read or received through the Service. The Get Help Now page is available to everyone, without signing in.

1. What Christ's Reach is — and is not

Christ's Reach is a Christ-centered daily companion for personal recovery, reflection, and mutual support. It is not a licensed clinical service, medical device, therapy platform, crisis hotline, or emergency service. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical or mental health advice.

Scripture is not a substitute for professional care. The verses, devotionals, prompts, and encouragement offered through Christ's Reach are provided for spiritual reflection and comfort. Faith and Scripture can be a genuine source of strength, hope, and peace — but they are meant to walk alongside, never to replace, the care of qualified professionals. They are not a diagnosis or treatment and are not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, addiction, or other licensed care. Always seek the advice of qualified professionals for help and true healing, follow the guidance they give you, and never disregard or delay seeking professional help because of something you have read in the Service.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. The Get Help Now page is available to everyone, without signing in.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Christ's Reach. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

You create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password, choosing the areas you would like support with, and agreeing to these Terms. We send a confirmation link to your email address, and you must confirm it before you can access the Service — this helps us keep accounts secure and tied to a real inbox. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, and to limit or close registration at any time.

4. Your content

You own what you write — your reflections, tap-ins, and reach-outs belong to you. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it outside of operating the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Harasses, threatens, or harms other users.
  • Violates any applicable law.
  • Constitutes spam or automated submissions.
  • Impersonates another person or is intentionally false.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Circles and reach-outs

When you invite someone to your Circle, or when you send a reach-out, you are sharing information with other users. You are responsible for who you invite and what you share. We are not responsible for how other users respond to your reach-outs or for the content others share with you.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Christ's Reach available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Christ's Reach and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Christ's Reach and its operators from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, or by emailing care@christsreach.com. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
